'For The River Man' is the new single by THE TELESCOPES. The track is taken from their upcoming album 'Halo Moon' (out 27 September).

If you want to pack ALL known and unknown punk names into ONE song, then you'll realise that it's not that easy, and that despite the frenzy you'll inevitably have to find an end point at some point.
DAS LUNSENTRIO, for example, came to this conclusion after 171 punk names - or 111 in the radio edit version - and that is of course regrettable:

LINSE is missing, IDEFIX is missing, BESEN and MESSER are missing, even ENTE is missing, as was quite rightly complained about at Hafenklang after the Hamburg live premiere of KNETE, KLAPPSTUHL, LEICHE, PASTINAKE, DRECK UND SPEICHE.
Strictly speaking, there are an infinite number missing, but 171 is still enough to express the joy of knowing that the wonderful poetry of punk names will never dry up and - like everything that is of a youth subcultural spirit - its rules, as tangible as they may seem, will never really be captured.

'Numb' is the title track of Levin Goes Lightly's fifth album and the first English single since 2017's "GA PS". Levin returns to his musical origins with this song. The song begins like a thundercloud and glides along spookily with a hard beat and beautiful synthesiser chords. It becomes softer at times, but always remains uplifting and only discharges with the redeeming second chorus "Oh you!".
You can only feel yourself through the other ("My fingers remain numb, until they touch you"). A menacing love song that is musically more akin to the dark dance/electronic music of Boy Harsher or John Maus.

Here comes the new KONSTANTIN UNWOHL single Ich hass es, wenn man Spaß hat. The track is on the wonderful album Neuer Wall, which will be released on 26 July on Tapete Records.

If you find the combination of minimalist darkwave and contemporary synth-pop exciting, you should definitely give it a listen. Everyone else too.

The new Amy Rigby single ‘The Farewell Tour’ has been released.

Amy about the song: "I wrote the words and melody on a late night train from New York City: short story of a troubled relationship, filtered through the young people around me. That feeling towards the end where you’re touching every experience for the last time. Recorded in early 2021, I tried to redo the vocal when we were working on the album “for real” but the rough really tied in to the live guitars (me on acoustic, Eric on the celestial electric) and held all the regret and sadness, so it had to stay."
